Abstract
Cryptococcosis is an infection by Cryptococcus neoformans which may involve the skin, lungs and other parts, but has a predilection for the brain and meninges. Cryptococcosis occurs worldwide and is well associated with immunocompromised state.
It
is
fatal if untreated.
We report 1 case of disseminated Cryptococcosis in a renal transplant recipient who was under immunosuppression with azathioprine, prednisolone and cyclosporine for about 2 years. This is believed to be the second case in renal transplant patient
with
disseminated Cryptococcosis in Korea.
